The lord has blessed me in many ways. When I was a teenager my grandmother had colon cancer and it was a rough ride. Seeing her go through Christ with faith gave me an example on how I need to be. Fast forward to 5 years, she is now cancer free and around the time I had a part time job. Due to the fact I kept reminding myself that it was temporary and i had greater blessing ahead to my journey.

I wanted to enlist in the US Army since I was a toddler. Listening to my elderly uncle reminisce his experience as a soldier. With a mindset I called my recruiter to set an appointment. Passed the pretest and went to MEPS and doubled on my score. The General personally called me and asked how I made it happen. After graduation my drill sergeant seen my potential and personally told my grandmother that I am going to be a sergeant in three years.

God is good because I made that rank 2 years into service. With a set mindset and faith,God will let his blessings shower onto you. You just have to trust in him and believe that all things shall pass with faith. I hope this buzz word has been an encouragement to you. With faith, trust, God , and a mindset.
